Product Description

Fire Retardant Recycled Polyester Fabric - Grey is a 100% polyester fabric produced entirely from yarn made out of PET plastic bottles, every one metre of fabric uses 820g of recycled plastic bottles. This innovative new fabric also uses a Halogen-Free fire retardant composition and passes all UK flame retardancy requirements. It is also OEKO-TEX certified to STANDARD 100 and it carries the Control Unions Scope Certificate for Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

The fabric is smooth with a woven appearance. There are some lighter strands of yarn running horizontally which break up the solid colour and add to the interest and appearance. The fabric is a medium in weight,  commercial grade upholstery fabric which is suitable for all forms of domestric upholstery.

  • You can purchase fabric in three different lengths; By the 'Metre', '1/2 Metre' or 'Sample'.
  • Use the drop down menu on the fabric page to choose which length you would like to purchase in. 
  • Please note: All orders 'By The Metre' and '1/2 Metre' will be sent in one continuous length.
  • See below examples. 
  • 3 x 1m  = 3m 
  • 3 x 1/2 m = 1.5m 
  • 1m + 1/2m = 1.5m
