Herringbone tweed is characterised by its zigzag 'herringbone' pattern. The origins of herringbone tweed can be traced back to the traditional craft of tweed weaving in Scotland and Ireland. Today, herringbone tweed continues to be a popular choice in interior design and remains an iconic and timeless fabric with a rich heritage.

This warm dove grey herringbone upholstery fabric is luxuriously soft to touch, yet very durable and is perfect for heavy curtains or blinds, upholstery, cushions or craft projects like bags.

Wool like or faux wool fabrics offer many benefits over pure wool, including cost, practicality and durability plus they are easier to care for.

  • You can purchase fabric in three different lengths; By the 'Metre', '1/2 Metre' or 'Sample'.
  • Use the drop down menu on the fabric page to choose which length you would like to purchase in. 
  • Please note: All orders 'By The Metre' and '1/2 Metre' will be sent in one continuous length.
  • See below examples. 
  • 3 x 1m  = 3m 
  • 3 x 1/2 m = 1.5m 
  • 1m + 1/2m = 1.5m
